                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY
                   LOCATED SOUTHEAST FROM WEST CREWDSON STREET,
                   SOUTHWEST OF CREWDSON STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned an alley located southeast from West Crewdson
         Street, southwest of Crewdson Street, more particularly 
described
         herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part
         hereof by reference:
                A 5 foot wide unopened alleyway beginning on the
                southeast line of West Crewdson Street 146.14 feet
                southwest of the intersection of the southeast line
                of West Crewdson Street with the southwest line of
                Crewdson Street, thence southeast 75 feet to the
                northwest line of Crewdson Street, thence southwest
                5 feet with Crewdson Street, thence northwest 77
                feet to the southeast line of West Crewdson Street,
                thence northeast some 5 feet with West Crewdson
                Street to the point of beginning.  Said alleyway
                separates lot 17 from lot 18, E.B. Ogden, Herbert
                Bushnell, T.D. Giles, and H.C. Hulse Resubdivision
                of Block 4, Normal Park, as shown by plat of record
                in plat book 6, page 41, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No.
                136A-C-3 and 4.
               
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
